Committed Practitioners Course: A Dhamma of Awakening

Dhammadipa will be offering this six month course for practitioners with four or more years of experience. The aim of this course is to explore approaches to nibbāna as they are understood in early Buddhism. We will touch on how awakening is described in the Suttas and in the Abhidhamma, why nibbāna is the culmination of the practice, how it relates to other practice goals, and how it can be attained by practicing meditation.

The course includes a monthly gathering of the entire group, a monthly gathering of a facilitated small group, and the opportunity for a monthly individual practice discussion with Ayya. Virtual participation is possible for all gatherings and there is the option for in person participation in full group gatherings at the vihara.

To learn more, visit the course page at dassanaya.org/committed-practitioners. To apply for this course, which includes a 3 day commuter retreat in April and a 6 day retreat in September, fill out the application here.
