Three Pillars of the Path: A New Year’s Eve virtual retreat

Ayya Dhammadipa and Rakhi will offer a virtual retreat, closing the year with stillness and their reflections on the three pillars of the Path - sila, samadhi, pañña - ethics, meditation, wisdom. Ethics begins with an attitude of deep respect, honesty, and non-harming toward oneself and others. Meditation brings clarity and malleability to the mind. Wisdom blossoms as knowing the vast and subtle workings of the world. Let’s explore them together.

This retreat will be offered in a flexible format that allows folks from different regions to join and to find their own balance of sitting, walking, and resting. The group gatherings will be:

Friday, December 29 from 4:30 to 7:00 pm Eastern US

Saturday, December 30 from 9:00 to 11:30 am Eastern

Saturday, December 30 from 2:00 to 4:30 pm Eastern

Saturday, December 30 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Eastern

Sunday, December 31 from 9:00 to 11:30 am Eastern

In this retreat we will explore each of the three themes, coming together to support and be supported by the community at a time of year that is ripe for reflection.

Registration is open. Everyone is welcome!
